I am HIV positive AND undetectable.

I’ll explain.

Undetectable does not mean HIV negative or that the HIV virus is hidden.

Undetectable means I KNOW I have HIV and i’m taking medication to suppress the virus from spreading in myself and to other others.

Just because I am undetectable does not mean that I am HIV negative or non-reactive.

My HIV test will always come out reactive even though my viral load test comes out undetectable.

I do not think I’m cured because I’m undetectable. I am very much aware that I still have HIV.

No, undetectable does not mean hiv is “hidden” from HIV tests.

HIV tests and viral load tests are two different tests.
