Sadly, in events more reminiscent of an English summer test match, rain has stopped play. All racing - indeed all skiing has stopped for the day. That’s led to a cancellation of the mountain race, a cancellation of the Classic and an intent to run the Championship Sprint again tomorrow - snow and weather conditions permitting.

Championship Sprint Race today.
Horrible weather- warm, slush and rain. Lori Seed gets another podium finish - a bronze medal to go with her silver. Harry Wallace finishes 13th and Rich Smith comes in in 24th.
Tomorrow is the Classic with all Gunner Racers in action.

Today was the Development Sprint Race for the first year novice racers. The course tested our Gunner Telemarkers with gates, a jump, the 360 loom and a cheeky little skate to finish with. Our Fab 4 was: Gnr Joe Scott (82) , LBdr John Malonda (83) Gnr Al Robinson (87) and Gnr Keane Wilde (89). Well done to them all.

The GS Champs have finished - heavy snow making the conditions a little bit more tricky than usual and it was a silver medal for the Gunners and for Lori Seed.
Congratulations Lori!!
