Alli Suddaby PT

Alli Suddaby PT I coach women 40+ to get strong and move well. Your strongest years & biggest adventures? They’re still ahead.

I work both online, and in-person in the Aude and Ariege, France.

💬 DM “STRONG” to get started.

30/08/2026

I’ve been collecting these. The random, brilliant ways the women I work with notice their strength making a difference to their life in France.

Boar damage repairs. Wood stacking. Market baskets. Vide greniers. Three flights of stairs. Medieval town centres with no parking.

Being strong and fit changes how you live - and how much energy you have for all the adventures and experiences that life in France has to offer.

This is some of what I help women get strong for.
If that sounds like the kind of strong you want to be, DM me for info.

Loved this message from a woman I coach today, who’s really feeling the difference in daily life 🙌. And I remember this feeling when I started training to get stronger in my 30s.

I find it hard sometimes to explain this to people who aren’t training and think getting stronger is all about being in the gym - that actually one of the biggest wins is just how much more capability you’ll feel for daily life, with the right type of training. 💪

I cycled to post something this morning instead of driving. I almost didn’t — I was in a rush and it would have been easier not to.

I’m so glad I did. Thirty minutes of movement I wouldn’t otherwise have found today. I arrived back feeling energised and better for it.

This is what a movement-rich life actually looks like. Not just training sessions - but the small choices each day that add up to something meaningful.

If you want to get stronger and move better, training matters. And so does everything in between.

Here are a few simple ways to build more movement into your daily life 👇 No gym required. 🌿

How would you like to feel in a week’s time?

This client came to me feeling like she’d slipped backwards. She wanted to get stronger and fitter - but a busy life and injury setbacks kept getting in the way.

One week into coaching, this is what her first check-in looked like.

A programme she could follow made movement manageable.
She moved nearly every day despite a busy week - cardio, strength, mobility, all done.
Her body already feels better.
And her confidence in reaching her goals is 8 out of 10.

One week. With a plan built just for her life and her goals.
The right support makes all the difference.

If you’d like to feel a difference like this in a week - DM me START.

This is how women get welcomed onto my programme.

Someone new joined at the weekend. As quick as I’d sent my own welcome message women were sending theirs.

I don’t ask anyone to do it.
(And nobody gets an easier week of programming for it either, I promise!)
It’s just what happens in this group.

Women sharing goals, celebrating wins, being honest about the hard weeks.

Nobody starts coaching for the group support - but it’s become one of the most valued parts of the programme.
One of those things you don’t realise the value of until you’re part of it.

The people around us shape our habits.
When you surround yourself with women who show up consistently, celebrate their wins, and support each other - that becomes your normal too.

And it’s a powerful driver of consistency.

I feel lucky to work with every one of these women. 🧡

NEW PODCAST OUT! Ep. 19: The Healthy Habits Focus, Part 4: Your Questions Answered

Over the past 3 weeks everyone who took part in the Healthy Habits focus asked me loads of brilliant questions about the habits we focussed on - floor sitting for mobility, sleep and alcohol-free days. So, this episode is dedicated to wrapping up the Healthy Habits Focus with answers to these questions and I also share tips and reflections that came up along the way.

I also talk about
- why setting an intention is often all it takes to start a new habit
- how tracking can help new habits stick.
- how the people around us can impact our habits too.

How a morning cuppa got V her first full push up. ☕

V starts each morning with a cup of tea. While the kettle boils she does a few moves to strengthen arms and core including some push ups - just a couple of minutes, part of her full-body workout. It’s attached to something she was already doing, making tea. It’s become a habit.

This week she did her first full push up from the floor.

A full push up is a great marker of upper body and core strength - it takes real strength to get there. V came to me wanting to get stronger generally. The push up became a milestone along the way. And she got there. (Now she’s going for 10 💪)

The kettle idea was hers. And it’s exactly what I encourage - movement stacking. Adding small moments of movement to things you’re already doing. No extra time needed. The kettle boils every day, so V practices her push ups every day.

This isn’t all V does - she trains on full body strength too, 1-2 times weekly. And what accelerated her progress was consistent small effort, every single day, stacked onto something she was already doing. Consistency is what drives progress. And movement stacking helped her find that consistency.

Five ideas to get you started are in the carousel. 👆

What could you stack movement onto in your day? I’d love to know. ⬇️

One reason coaching works, which most coaches won’t tell you…and one of my clients said it best in her check-in recently

“If I pay for something, I bloody well want my money’s worth!”

When you invest in yourself, you show up. You don’t skip the session, you don’t half-do the plan. That commitment alone changes the results you get.

A free plan is easy to abandon. So is one you haven’t paid something you value for. Searching for online workouts is easy to skip.

But when you’re paying a coach, you’re far more likely to stay consistent, and build the habit. And that’s when you start seeing progress.
