Hanging, measuring, nudging an inch to the left 🖼️

Every postcard is placed by hand, one at a time. Painted in over 80 countries, they’re now side by side on the wall, from a street corner in one city to a stretch of coastline in another.

More than 8,000 watercolour postcards have been painted for Art Mail, and this is where a few of them land in New York.

The doors open on 22nd October. Come and see them in person.

Last chance to see Art Mail at The Saatchi Gallery 🎨

Thousands of tiny watercolours, painted by hand and posted from all over the world, now line the walls of Saatchi Gallery. Lean in close and you’ll find a lighthouse in a storm, a much-loved dog, a pink-tinged sunset, a stranger’s portrait. Every postcard is its own small world.

Seeing them together has been the best part: the hush of people looking closely, the pointing, the “you have to see this one” moments.

Art Mail closes at Saatchi Gallery on Sunday 11th October. Free to visit, and well worth the trip.

A little piece of Galápagos has made its way to London 🐢

Two artists from the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador, have shared their postcards for Art Mail: Santiago Cordero () painted a giant tortoise, pictured with his postcard at , and Noemí Cevallos () painted the iconic blue-legged piquero. Together they create as .

Both paintings come from the same place. A deep respect for the wildlife of the islands and a reminder of why protecting what is natural matters.

Thank you to .sa for bringing this project to Ecuador and for being the bridge that lets local art travel the world.

Atmospheric, abstract, playful. Still and calm. Dog, colours, paper.
