The ideal location for a drive and survive style week of angling. We have worked very hard to achieve a fishery with a rather unique stock.

Brothers Lake France is a quiet five and a half acre, exclusive use carp fishery with a focus on a unique stock of linears, fully scaled and heavily plated mirrors. The lake can be booked for a maximum of four anglers who benefit from sole use of the lake and its facilities. The lake has five swims with a clay/sand/silt bottom and depths of up to 13 feet. If catching outrageous looking heavily scaled, fully scaled and linear mirrors along with a few commons is up your street, you may wish to take a closer look! Lets kick off with this cracking looking from last week. Kev had quite a few scaly ones and this one has really come on in the last two years. What a lovely carp. Steven Laws one from your pond mate 😅.

Geoff and Dave had a great week. The fish were reluctant to move from in fron of Dave so he had the lions share with 15 fish landed between them and a few losses.

Fish of;
54,52,49,46,46,43,42,36,35,31,30, plus a few smaller ones.

Dave smashed his pb mirror and his pb common.

Geoff managed this 42lb 4oz mirror early this morning from swim 2. Most of the fish are held up in front of swim 5 but I watched a few up in the shallows today past the island. Dave has continued to pick off some quality fish from swim 1 with another 40+ mirror, a 52lb common and a lovely 30lber.

Dave is on the fish in swim 1. Theres a large group of fish feeding heavily in front of swim 5 and Dave is picking them off. After his new pb of 54 hes had mirrors of 49, 46 and 43. Geoff in swim two went arse over tit getting to his rod this morning and proceeded to lose the fish 😂. Come on Geoff, time for a chunk....

Lovely 48lb+ mirror for Danny last week. The group managed 10 fish and thoroughly enjoyed themselves despite the heat.

Cooler weather now and after today we are seeing temperatures of under 30°C for the next week or more which is great.

We need some help.

We've recently found out that for some reason, Google has deindexed our website - we have no idea how long this has been the case, as our GA4 tracking still indicates visiting traffic.

It took us around 10 years and a lot of work to get to page two of Google listings under searches like 'Carp fishing in France' and now, that work appears to be undone.

Promoting the lake against a backdrop of healthy competition, algorithms and whopping budgets from holiday agents isn't easy, and our marketing strategy has had to adapt numerous times to reflect those challenges, but this is quite a hit, businesses wise.

To help us get back up the lists, we'd really appreciate your help with two things... 🙏🏻

1. Visit www.brotherslakefrance.com as every bit of genuine traffic pushes us in the right direction.

2. Consider leaving a Google Review - searching us on maps and leaving a review is another excellent way of exposing us to the masses.

Vince and Leyland did a bit of fishing last week while they helped with a few odd jobs around the lake. Lovely looking mirror for Leyland, they managed fish upto 46lbs 🙂
