The Golden Carp Lake, at Vieux-Mareuil in the Dordogne (France), is a family-run 14 acre carp fishery. We have an estimated 150 fish, with an average weight over 2020-2021 of 34.7lbs. Fish over 40lbs are common, and we have many over 50lbs, several 60lbers, and the two known monsters: the Big Common, last caught at 71lbs, and the BSM (Big Scale Mirror) caught in September 2021 at 70.4lbs! Not forgetting the 21 koï, and a small head of grass carp...
Oh, and Bob the Catfish, who is just over seven foot long!!
