A great evening tonight as the team all got together at The Bar for a social.

Brilliant to see lots of our new Reserve team coming back too. Well done to skipper Judge Lewis Reed on organising the quiz, along with expert quizzer Carwyn Speck, and overseeing the first 'court' of the season.

Building something takes time but from where we were to where we are now, in just a few months, is fantastic for the future of ATFC.

FULL TIME....
Our Reserves started off today with a win and a clean sheet against Cwmdare FC .

Both goals were scored by Trystan Bailey-Graham either side of the break.

Keeper Dafydd Keating saved a penalty to ensure his net remainded unbroken.

Considering the lads have only had one training session since coming together as a new team there were plenty of positives tk build on ahead of their first home match next Saturday.

Aber's Man of the Match was Dafydd Keating while the oppositions choice was Phil Williams

The points are shared in a 2-2 draw at home to AFC Abercynon.

Today we welcome AFC Abercynon in the Aberdare Valley Football League to the Easy Panels Stadium.

Meanwhile our reserves are in action away to Cwmdare FC in their first game!

Both games kick off at 2.30pm

So as well as our own games this weekend we also host a huge game for our friends at Aberdare Athletic-ish - bar will be open for your refreshments so make sure the Easy Panels Stadium is your place to be this Saturday and Sunday!

WHEN SATURDAY (AND SUNDAY) COMES....

Two adult games this weekend as the first team play host to AFC Abercynon and the Reserves play their first game as they face Cwmdare FC - both in the Aberdare Valley Football League - kick off is at 2.30pm followed by a club quiz night/social.

On Sunday the youth team start their league campaign against Tonyrefail (ko 1pm)

This weekend see mini and junior football back too.... good luck to all our teams as they get their season underway
