Since 2017 we have supported 46 community buildings through the Micro Fund grant scheme.

Do you have a project, improvement or a service in mind for your building, get in touch now to apply for a grant of up to £5,000 before deadline in mid-August!!

So far we have funded all sorts of things from roof repairs to old fire station owned by Hirwaun & Penderyn Community Council that is used as local garden shop for the community to sauna installations at community gym in Rhigos Rhigos SportsHall

We have supported craft group based at Noddfa Community Centre Glyncorrwg and provided equipment for Tonmawr RFC

In the last round we funded new equipment to benefit all users at the Cabin Cwmgwrach Amateur Boxing Club as well as part funding renovations for clubhouse at Resolven AFC Ltd. - Cam Gears Club

Treorchy Male Choir received a grants to make their base COVID safe and ready for them to safely get back together and Ynyswen Miners Welfare Hall obtained funding to decorate and update the Hall.

Other community buildings that have received a Micro Fund grant include: Gwynfi Miners Community Hall / Côr Meibion Morlais Hall / Aberdare Rugby Club and many more

We play our rugby on the Ynys fields alongside the Sobell's sports centre in Aberdare. Aberdare provides rugby football for all age-groups, 12 sides in total ranging from the Minis starting at Under 7's right through to the Senior side which for the second successive season play their games in Division 3 South East.

Today is the anual mini - junior tournament down sports centre. as well as rugby theres plenty down there bouncy castles for the children hot / cold food. then all back to club at 4:00 for disco & buffet.
