Just a quick update to welcome our 2 new signings to the squad. 💙
Chloe Milne joins us from Aberdeen City Ladies U14s, after a season here last year and will be a great addition to the team. A strong defender, Chloe also becomes the oldest player in the squad and brings a good experience with her.
We're also delighted to welcome Elly-Jane Milne, who joins from Buchan Stars. Elly-Jane has scored over 100 goals in the last two years and has already shown what she can bring to the team last night. We now have 2 very good strikers here at Hermes, Kate and Elly-Jane who both have an eye for goal
We're delighted to have you girls at Hermes and look forward to the remaining fixtures ahead.

A tough 6-3 defeat last night out at Ardallie against a very strong and experienced side Kintore United, but the scoreline certainly doesn't reflect how well our girls played.
Coach Calum mentioned
The girls competed brilliantly from start to finish, played some excellent football, and were very unlucky not to take something from that game. At 4-3, with 10 to go, we felt the girls had every chance of nicking a result before conceding two late goals. A big sucker punch but one we as coaches hope they can learn from and take into our next game!
Goals from Amelia (2) and Elly-Jane, who scored her first goal for the team from the penalty spot, after signing that same morning
A special mention to Holly, who made some outstanding saves throughout the match in goal too.
Every single player should be proud of that performance against one of the strongest teams we've faced this season. The effort, attitude and determination was fantastic to see girls. 💙
Girl of the Match goes to the entire squad last night, a true team performance. 👏
It doesnt get any easier for the girls, as we face top of the league high flying Stonehaven away on Tuesday night . Let's see if the girls can top that perfomance from last night and bring into this game 🤞👊

In the re‑arranged match against Colony, the Sky Blues put in a really strong team performance. It was a tight, competitive game throughout, with plenty of hard work, good passing spells and some brilliant moments of teamwork.
The girls showed great determination, especially during the late stages when the pressure was on, and they managed the game with real maturity.
Star Performer: Georgia
She was outstanding across left mid, right mid and centre mid — full of energy, discipline and clever play.
A great effort from everyone tonight.
Many thanks to our sponsors Carriers and Procast

An enjoyable end to end game against an exciting West End team who got the ball down and played good passing football. There were strong performances throughout the team, with everyone working hard defensively and offensively. The defence dealt with everything they threw at us and we were extremely dangerous moving the ball forward quickly into the wide areas and scoring some superb team goals as a result.
POTM was our captain Paige; back after 8 weeks out with a broken wrist and you would never have known she had been away. Battling for every ball and she showed her usual composure with 2 great feet and was a goal threat every time she got into the box.

Yesterday morning Hermes Hosted Colony Thistle and the girls were
Back to there best💙🖤
A fantastic effort from every single one of the girls to fight hard to get the upper hand.
We battled hard throughout and played some really good football at times. On another day, we probably grab a couple more goals and make it a little less nail-biting 😬.
There’s plenty to build on going into next week, and hopefully this gives everyone a much-needed confidence boost.
No individual Player of the Match today — I’m sure you’ll all agree that this was a true team performance! 👏
A big thank you to Sofia and Ruby, who got stuck in from the start and didn’t look out of place stepping up to a higher level.
Well done, girls! Enjoy and we’ll see you all on Tuesday! 💙🖤⚽

What a thriller this one turned out to be ⚽🔥
Hermes enjoyed a fun filled end to end match in a sun‑soaked showdown, the match had everything, speed, skill, drama, and smiles all round 😄. Donside, were brilliantly well‑organised and made Hermes work for every inch of the pitch 💪.
Despite the scorching heat ☀️🥵 the game flew end‑to‑end at a rapid pace, with Hermes putting together some great passages of play. With a couple of the goals coming straight from their training drills, and the girls executed them brilliantly 🎯
Lillie stepped up with courage and confidence, helping keep the team steady in a close fought game at short notice, a brave captains performance. 👍
Both teams played with brilliant spirit, respect, and determination, exactly what U12s football should be about 💙
A massive thank you to all the parents for the nonstop encouragement from the sidelines 🙌👏 Your support keeps the girls buzzing.

U14s ⚽️
Another good friendly for the girls and valuable minutes in the legs last night in Boddam.
Goals from Tayla (3), Kate (3), and one each from Ruby, Chloe, Amelia and Alix.
A great performance from the team, especially in the second half where the girls kept the intensity high and never really took their foot off the gas. The effort and attitude from every single player was outstanding, with everyone contributing throughout the match, making the whole squad deserving of Girl of the Match.
Credit to Buchan Girls and Ladies FC aswell, a well organised young side with great attitude and plenty potential. Keep sticking together and working hard for your coaches, and there’s no doubt the team will keep improving as yous progress up into 11aside 👊🤝
