🎉 10 Years Strong – Celebrating 10 Years of Unity and Progress 🎉
This year marks 10 years since Parkvale Juniors and FC Stoneywood came together, creating something stronger for the future while respecting a proud past.

Back in 2016, Parkvale Juniors had just missed out on promotion from the 1st Division, while FC Stoneywood were coming off relegation from the Premier League. Parkvale had called Findon, near Portlethen, home for 28 years, while FC Stoneywood had been in their new park for less than two years.

Parkvale Juniors, founded in 1898, and FC Stoneywood, founded in 1981 (with roots in the Stoneywood Works team of 1924 and the merger with FC Woodacon), shared more than just ambition — they shared history, community, and vision.

The amalgamation was also a family affair: Alexander Smith, Chairman of Parkvale FC, and his brother Jim Smith, a committee member at FC Stoneywood, recognised that a united future would benefit both clubs.

Since then, our club has grown to include:

Stoneywood Parkvale AFC (Amateurs)

Stoneywood Parkvale 2011 (Juveniles)

Stoneywood Parkvale Women, added in 2025, which has strengthened our culture, broadened our reach, and reinforced our commitment to an inclusive and sustainable future.

Ten years on, we’re proud of how far we’ve come — built on tradition, teamwork, and community.

Here’s to the past, the present, and the future. 💙⚽

A huge thank you to ALL our sponsors for their continued support as we celebrate this milestone and look ahead to the future.

Stoneywood PVA 5-0 AC Mill Inn

Bare 11, windy conditions .
Guys ran out comfortable winners in the end , though a few scares against the wind early in the first half .
We grew into the game, Liam and Skinner both should have scored . Lewis C was first to react when a corner was only half cleared and he finished well.

HT 1.0

Second half with the wind was almost all one way traffic . Max from 3 yards with his left foot , a piledriver from Logan a Skinner header and a pen.
Could have been more but nice way to end the year.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

Cove 3-0 Stoneywood PVA

Huffed and puffed, there was no lack of effort but were well beaten on the day. Defensive mistakes cost us.

We go again Saturday away to Echt in the North of Scotland cup.

Match report from Ally Reid

SP welcomed an inform Ellon Th to a blustery Stauff Park .
We were against the wind 1st half but defended resolutely and limited Ellon to very few chances and looked dangerous on the break . It was from a breakaway that Liam managed to beat the defender and keeper and squeezed the ball in at the near post . Liam had a chance from a Tait ball across goals and shot past with just the keeper to beat . We were coping well until a long throw was headed in to the area and Ellons forward flicked it past Pullam
In goals .
Ht 1.1

With the wind we played smart football and Tait just failed to connect with a Liam cutback then , Lewis g header just over before Tait found himself one on one with the keeper and unselfishly laid it to Logan who scored .
Ellon pushed on but the defence stood strong for a well deserved win .
Need to build on this and push on.
