So as part of my black belt grading I had to write a speech on why I deserve my black belt today. This took a lot of thought, I racked my brains numerous times thinking what I could write them BOOM a flash of inspiration the light at the end of my tunnel lit up in front of me and the speech just fell of my pen onto the paper with ease.

Number 1

I would come back from Berlin Germany Wkuworld World Kickboxing and Karate Union world championships with a medal

Number 2

I would smash my black belt 🥋 test when it came around in September

Well guess what

Number 1

Yes it came true I came home bronze medalist in my light contact category just missing out on getting to the finals.

Number 2

Well what can I say today I overcame the second biggest test of my life after last year’s devastating news.
