Next season will see not one but TWO fantastic World Curling events coming to Curl Aberdeen.

We are absolutely delighted to be hosting The World Championships Men's Qualifier event from 8–13 November 2026.

AND we are thrilled to share that we will also host the World Junior Curling Championships from 6–14 February 2027.

You are not going to want to miss this!!!

🥌 This includes your club’s ice requests, and also entries to: Club League, Henderson Trophy, Director’s Cup and any club team entry to the Ham & Egg Bonspiel (other entries to the Ham & Egg will be accepted at a later date). I’m sure most clubs will have discussed these options within their membership by now but if not please contact your match secretary as soon as possible.

🎉 Great news — all existing Super League teams have signed up for the new season, and we’re thrilled to welcome even more curlers into the league. If you’ve been considering entering a team, we’d love to see you out there with us.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Whether you’re seasoned players or a group ready to take the next step, there’s a place for you in the Super League. Come be part of a fun, competitive, and supportive curling community.

📆 Super League Overview – The Super League runs on Monday evenings, with games played at either 6:00pm or 8:15pm. This is a team‑entry league, and teams may consist of any four players, provided all are members of Curl Aberdeen.

📈 The league is structured into three divisions. New teams enter in Division 3, which is designed to be a fun, welcoming, and not overly high‑level environment—perfect for teams looking to enjoy competitive curling without the pressure of top‑tier play. Teams in each division compete in a double round‑robin format throughout the season. Strong performance in Division 3 can earn promotion to higher divisions, while teams in the upper tiers compete to avoid relegation.
