We are delighted to add the 2025 Scottish Amateur Champion, Chris Somers to our team of supported players.

After a truly remarkable 2025 where Chris won the Scottish Amateur Championship, the Aberdeen Links Championship, the Buchan Firkin, the Murcar Links Club Championship, the Maitland Shield and the NE District Order of Merit, we felt it was vital that Chris was supported properly from a golf perspective to aid his push for further success and a Scotland cap.

We will be providing Chris with a multi pronged support network for the 2026 season which includes:

• A fourteen club set of custom fit and custom built clubs.
• Free access to any of our five teaching professionals
• Free access to our TrackMan driving range
• Support from our experienced Golf Team which includes top playing professionals, former Scotland and GB&I internationalists and our equipment experts.

Hopefully, together, we can help Chris push on to bigger and better things in 2026!

CRAIG GROUP AND KINGS LINKS GOLF CENTRE ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP WITH DP WORLD TOUR REPRESENTATIVE

Craig Group and Kings Links Golf Centre have signed a partnership with Aberdeen professional golfer, David Law.

A multiple winner on the European Challenge Tour and a DP World Tour champion, David Law grew up in Aberdeen and has strong ties to the local golfing community. He will represent Craig Group and Kings Links Golf Centre on the DP World Tour for the 2026 season.
This new partnership underlines the commitment of Craig Group and Kings Links Golf Centre to investing in local golfing talent and promoting the North-east as a leading destination for golf.

As part of the agreement, Law will carry Craig Group and Kings Links Golf Centre branding on tour and will support grassroots and elite golf development in the North-east of Scotland.

David Law said: “I’m really proud to be partnering with Craig Group and Kings Links Golf Centre for the 2026 season. Aberdeen is home for me and I’ve always had huge support from the local community throughout my career. To be backed by two organisations with such strong roots in the city and a real commitment to growing the game is something that means a lot. I’m looking forward to working with them both on and off the course, especially getting involved with young players at Kings Links and hopefully helping to motivate more boys and girls to take up the game.”

Aberdeen’s Kings Links Golf Centre, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, is the longest running off-course golf facility in Scotland. It was acquired by family-owned Aberdeen business, Craig Group, in 1996 and the group has invested significantly in the golfing facility which has one of the best and biggest golf retail operations in the country.
