All the kids have been amazing since we took this wee award in & this week in particular it could have been absolutely anybody tonight. As per usual all the kids took it in the right spirit.

Tonight saw Oscar winning player of the week after his best training session in a while and to top it off a few goals at the weekend.

This was a hard session for Myself and Harris as that’s his best friend leaving for Glasgow.
Oscar has been a family friend since 2019 and at the 18's since Les started the team.

You will be missed wee man, sometimes you drive me and the other coaches round the bend but that’s you and never change.

Well that’s our 1st year at 7s done we had a very good season with the boys last 2 games we try out few new kids and also had some kids playing in different positions all learning for us and the kids boys had a very good 1st and 2nd half but our 3rd half was very poor but it can’t always go our way and you learn from that kind of games.

The 2018s were invited along to a Festival held by Turriff Football Club today.

The Coaches had this to say........

Two teams traveled to Turriff today, both teams done fantastic. Both played as a team battled for every ball. Some amazing passing of play and solo runs also. They both won 4 games and very competitive with the other 2.

Northstar Dons CFC vs Colony Colts FC

Today was the boys last game at 7's and what a way to sign off. They took the game by the scruff right from the off and played some good passing football the opposition couldn't deal with our passing and movement. All the boys put in a good shift which was very pleasing. Marcel bagged 6 goals Mason with a hatrick and Alexander with a brace.

A much improved performance from the last time we player Colony Colts and the kids all put in a great shift today on a very hot day. Seeing the improvement all over the pitch is great and can’t wait for the next block to start already.

🟠⚫ Northstar Sunnybank CFC 2014's Non Competitive Match ⚫🟠

Northstar Sunnybank CFC 7 vs 2 Colony Utd FC

A fantastic, highly positive performance from the Northstar SunnyBank 2014s today saw them secure a brilliant 7-2 victory over Colony United. From the first whistle, the boys showed incredible teamwork, working together perfectly as a tight unit. Their communication was a massive highlight of the game, with constant talking on the pitch helping to open up spaces for some excellent passing.

This sharp, collaborative play allowed Northstar to dominate early on, carving through the opposition to build a commanding 4-1 lead by the end of the first half.
The momentum didn't drop after the break. In the second half, the boys continued to play the exact same high-energy football. A rock-solid, strong defense kept Colony United firmly at bay, while a lightning-fast midfield completely controlled the tempo of the game, driving the transition from defense to attack. The relentless pressure paid off, with Northstar adding three more goals to wrap up a superb 7-2 win.

Well done to Logan and the entire squad for an excellent team performance!

Can’t wait to start the league when it comes, but for now it’s time for a couple more training sessions then a wee break before we head into pre-season training.

(A truly outstanding performance from Logan today, capped off with a brilliant hat-trick! Logan showed incredible football throughout the game, timing his runs to slip into the box completely unmarked. Time and time again, he found the perfect pockets of space where the opposition simply couldn't spot him. When the ball broke his way, he showed composure.)
