elvis didn’t dissapoint again this weekend, smashing it out if the park! 68.3% in our pc intermediate test placing us 1st and qualifying us for the spring festival next april, followed by 65.1% in our league class placing us 1st again! so proud of this pony and so great full to get to ride him 🍊🧡

a little summer recap!
sorry i haven’t been active as i have been so busy but this is how our summer went! Elsie and Elvis went to pony club camp in the first week of summer where we had lots of fun doing jumping and dressage. then elsie and i went to compete at areas where we came 34th in a strong class of 68 and the team placed 4th qualifying us for regionals. elvis and i were there the day after doing the intermediate dressage where we placed 6th in our section leaving the team in 2nd! elsie and i then went to turrif show where we came 1st in our class qualifying us for blair which is this weekend then we went off to regionals where i placed 63rd in a class of 128 and the team placed 12th! i have had the best summer of horses this year and am so excited to see what the coming weeks bring x

RIDING CLUB AREA 22
was an early start on saturday to go to the area 22 qualifiers with elvis and elsie.. they did not fail to impress! elsie did a lovely round of style jumping putting us in second ! Elvis then went on to do our dressage for the team getting a respectable 60.1% in the prelim 13 putting us in third and the team in first! then elvis did the riding test getting a whopping 71.8% putting us into second for that!
i can’t thanks enough for letting me borrow her fantastic ponies and for the taxi drive and grooming! also need to thank and Niamh for coaching me !

had a great lesson with Niamh today working on suppleness in our trot through extension and collection work. we also worked on our transitions and that helped with suppleness!

cheeky beach trip with today for her birthday. Elvis says suns out tongues out 😂
the past week these ponies haven’t failed to put a smile on my face. Elvis did his 5th Novice getting a fabulous 66.3% coming first, then did some fitness on sunday followed by some jumps on monday. Elsie has also been doing lots of fitness in preparation for the hunter pace this weekend!

here’s the update i promised.
so elvis and i ventured down to ayrshire for the pc spring festival on friday for the dressage on saturday. to not only smash it! we got 5th in our arena ans came in as top 20! i was so proud of elvis considering we only just stepped up to novice last year. big treats and cuddles for him 💛

had the most ace time at my local showjumping today! we came 2nd in the 80cm and she was an absolute star!!now the prep begins for the spring festival!
