Aberdeen City Open A big thanks to all 16 teams who entered and competed in the 2023 City Open, and to all spectators who came along to watch and support. It was great to see the rink so busy and we hope to see everyone back next year!

Aberdeen City Open is back tomorrow!!!

First games begin at 6.00pm. A Schenkel system is being used and the first draw is drawn out the hat before teams go on.

There will be live music at the rink from 7.30pm tomorrow and the bar will be open 🍻🎶

Come along to enjoy the music (and possibly watch some curling too..!!🤣😅)

Curl Aberdeen are excited to announce the return of the Aberdeen City Open !

Open to all ages and abilities - we are looking to run this competition with 24 teams made up of any four curlers.

Running from the Friday 24th March - Sunday 26th March first games begin at 6pm on Friday so no time off work or school is required 😇

The entry fee is £240 per team with a buffet on the Saturday evening included. 🍽

All games will be 6 ends. With the hope to have 4 groups of 6 teams - all teams will be guaranteed at least 5 games with the top two teams of each section qualifying for either high or low road semi-finals.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 8 teams 🏆

Aberdeen City Open has returned with the hope of bringing the fun, social side back to curling. That being said, we are happy to say there will be live music at the rink on the Friday evening 🎶 we hope to see all competitors and any spectators along at Curl Aberdeen on the Friday to enjoy this!!
On the Saturday evening we would like to invite everyone along to the Dutch Mill for some more live music and to socialise with fellow competitors 🍻
