Over the weekend we had both an Olympic lifter and multiple Powerlifters competing at SUCS.

Amazing results across the board⭐️ Specifically, Sofia placed 1st in F84, Sam placed 1st in M120, Dante placed 2nd in M93 and Khaleel placed 2nd in M66.

A huge well done to all our lifters, the atmosphere was electric and this is by far the most participants RGU Weightlifting has ever had at a competition❤️‍🔥

The next competition is BUCS, multiple lifters secured the qualifying total for this, so stay tuned to see the lineup🫡

Today (Friday 10th October) is World Mental Health day🌳🌍

However, mental health is important every single day, not just today. If yourself, or anyone is struggling please reach out to either ourselves or a trusted friend or adult. A problem shared is a problem halved.

Above are 5 ways to help better your mental health. Implementing small changes can make a big difference in how you feel.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and takes some time to rest and reset, everyone deserves to feel positive about themselves 🥰

As I’m sure many of you are aware, this weekend is Scottish Juniors Championships! We have three members competing, in M66, M83 and M120.

Best of luck to all three, it’s sure to be a big weekend.

Big thank you as well to and who will be handling our lifters 🩷
