It was a great privilege to be invited to talk on the heraldic systems of both nations this weekend at JET AA Scotland's Japan-Scotland Community Cultural Festival 2026, and a particular honour to have the Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh in the audience.

At the conclusion of my presentation I revealed an alternative anime inspired (specifically 'Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider') title - 'Tibbetts wants to be a Hata Bugyo' - and poster of manga drawn heralds which I share here for your amusement now.

This morning at the Gordon Highlander Museum, HRH Temple MacDonald Jamala ,HRH Favour MacDonald Jamala and Augustine MacDonald Jamala were received received by John McLeish OBE and Ian Pithie.

HRH Temple MacDonald Jamala 11 presented a beautiful trophy from his Kingdom to Gordon Highlander Museum as a Symbol of Friendship.

This morning at the Gordon Highlander Museum, Housed in the former home of the renowned 19th-century Scottish artist Sir George Reid, with extraordinary 200-year history of "the Finest Regiment in the World". Having His Majesty The King Charles 111 as the Patron paid a host to HRH Temple MacDonald Jamala and HRH Favour Macdonald Jamala, who was received by John McLeish OBE and Ian Pithie

HRH Temple Jamala presented a precious ornament from his Kingdom to Gordon Highlander Museum as a Symbol of Friendship.
