BACK. TO. BACK!!! Our Broncos side backed up a 9-0 group stage performance with a 14-6 semi final win over the and then a 21-20 victory against the to secure a second Granite City Quaich in a row!!
Thanks to all of our opponents across the weekend, and a special shout out to everyone at the who helped put on the tournament.
Grangemouth Flag Football Club are once more back at practices.
Saturday mornings. 10:00-12:30
Tuesday evenings, 18:45-20:30
And our Ladies team practice Monday evenings 18:45-20:30
All at Almond Terrace, Whitecross. EH49 6LJ.
Anyone interested in playing can come and meet us at one of our sessions, and potentially join in.
Our practices are currently limited to socially distant drills, which includes running passing and catching. Plus a bit of fitness work to help get us back into shape.
For the moment our teams are for people aged 18 and over.
We hope to begin taster sessions for Youth teams in the near future.
Grangemouth Flag Football Club expect to be returning to practice on Saturday 20th March.
It will, of course, not be the practice we are used to. The new normal will include hand sanitising, regular sanitizing of footballs.
Unfortunately, the rules will exclude many of our members who live outwith the Falkirk Council area.
Practice will be limited to 15 participants all adhering to Social Distancing rules.
While we may be able to pass the ball, we will not be competing for catches and there will be no Flags to pull.
Initially participation will be limited to current club members, Broncos, Colts and Fillies. We hope in subsequent weeks to be able to include newcomers.
Looking forward to seeing all of our friends, many for the first time in at least a year.
Since our last post, there has not been much to post from a Club point of view. We have had a brief period in Scotland's tier 2 which gave some of us the opportunity to play a game, but I think most felt it was too big a risk so close to Christmas.. Now we have at least another three weeks before we will even have a chance to meet up again.
In the meantime the Club would like to wish ALL our players, supporters and family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Boy is it good to be back!!!! Even our resident "Mr Angry" was excited. Lots of rust to be shaken off but glad to finally be out on the field again!
WE ARE BACK!
Sport Scotland have given the go-ahead for flag practice to resume.
All sessions will be "COVID-19 aware":-
No-one should turn up with COVID-19 symptoms.
Temperatures will be taken on arrival.
Gloves should be worn by ALL participants.
A register will be taken of all attendees
A maximum of 20 people can be involved, so please let us know if you are attending.
First session will be Saturday 5th September 2020. 10:00 until 12:30.

You have to guess the Broncos/Colts/Fillies player (Past and Present) behind the letters based on the clues that will be posted at 15 minute intervals. Like last time I intend to update the original post, so that it is all in the one thread.
NOTE - I have used the same letters as last time. The names behind each letter will be different. The names may have been used previously, or may not.
Try not to guess individual boxes, because you will only get 1 point and give clues to other players. Guess a row of three, or the four corners, or the whole board.
10 points per row of three

50 points for the full board.
