This week at Baby and Me...

💜 We welcomed new families to our classes
💜 Some of the babies reached new milestones, including rolling and being comfortable on their tummies
💜 We continued to progress our adult yoga moves, incorporating balance, stability and strength
💜 Baby Massage saw us add the chest and arms into our routine

Baby and Me isn't like other baby classes, we are so much MORE than JUST a baby class.

Oh I remember this all too well!!!!! I had one baby who would transfer so well it was amazing. The other we just couldn't move once they had fallen asleep. Sometimes I was stuck in the car, other times I was trapped underneath them. I remember needing the toilet so badly one day that as soon as my baby woke up I darted to the bathroom 😂😂

When families arrive for class and their baby is sleeping they can sometimes feel like they 'need' to 'wake' their little one! There is never a need to wake your baby for class and in all honesty they might not be up for massage if you do wake them.

The course is completely baby led and we do not need baby's participation to learn the massage stokes. It's all about me teaching you a life long skill that you can do in your own time when your baby is ready for massage.

There are two remaining Baby Massage classes for the year;
💜 22nd September - 3rd November’26 (no classes 13th or 20th Oct).
💜 10th November - 8th December’26.

Today I had the amazing honour of watching my sloth loving baby, feeding Scotland's first baby Sloth, Atty at Edinburgh Zoo. It was an amazing experience and definitely brought a few tears to my eyes.

We also visited the Highland Cows, which are one of my very favourite animals. I find them very calming!

This week is a big one in Aberdeen city and shire with lots of children starting nursery, primary school and secondary school. I'm sure there are lots of big feelings in your household from both your little (or not so little) ones and from yourself.

Please don't worry if you don't have a first day of school board, or personalised balloons. These days can be special in a way that works for your family, they don't have to be Instagramable.
