6/6 wins on the first day vs two England Teams for the boys and three English Teams and Team Wales for the girls 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We are incredibly proud of Flyers Gregor and Chloe who have been selected for the Scottish School Games 3X3 Teams! 💪🏻

We know they are absolutely going to smash it 🏀

We are so excited to share that we are competing in the UKWB Development League this season! 💪🏻

Some of our Senior Flyers entered last year as part of an amalgamated Scottish Team called the Caledonia Unicorns but we are so delighted to this year be taking a full Grampian Flyers squad down to Durham to compete! 🏀

Meet The Teams - Development League East

Playing at The Durham University Sport and Wellbeing Park in the Development League East this season are;

Grampian Flyers Wheelchair Basketball
Kingston Panthers Wheelchair Basketball Club
Mohawks Wheelchair Basketball Team
North East Warriors Wheelchair Basketball Club
Wakefield Whirlwinds Wheelchair Basketball Club

We are pleased to see Carlisle Panthers, Kingston Panthers, Mohawks and Wakefield Whirlwinds enter again this season. We also welcome back North East Warriors who return after missing last season. Durham University and Grampian Flyers take part for the first team and we are delighted to welcome them into the UKWB community.

They will all play each other once over three rounds;

🗓 Sunday 20th September 2026
🗓 Saturday 12th December 2026
🗓 Sunday 21st March 2027

The top 3 will then play in the top bracket, and the bottom 3 in the bottom bracket, at the Development League Finals Weekend in July. The 4th placed team will play their West counterparts in a playoff to kick off that weekend and finalise the brackets.

Home Nations Cup 2026 - British Wheelchair Basketball History made as Scotland are crowned overall Home Nations Cup champions at the inaugural competition.

A perfect tournament for our U18s!

They finish the Home Nations Cup 2026 unbeaten, winning every game they played and bringing home the gold medal.

What an incredible two days. A huge congratulations to the whole squad and team staff on a tournament to remember.

And a massive thank you to everyone who supported the teams, whether you were there in person or following along online.
