I’m proud to have taken on a number of physical and personal challenges in support of the Gathimba Edwards Foundation (GEF)—a remarkable charity transforming lives in Kenya and north-east Scotland through education, housing, and long-term support.
Having volunteered and travelled to Kenya with the charity, I’ve seen first-hand how GEF helps children get into school, builds safe homes, and creates opportunities many of us take for granted.
Each challenge I’ve tackled has been driven by a desire to make a real difference—and now, I’m preparing for my biggest yet: Beat the Sun 2025.
This epic coast-to-coast cycling challenge stretches across Scotland, from its easternmost point all the way to Ardnamurchan Lighthouse in the west.
Riders set off at sunrise and race the sun, aiming to finish before it sets—crossing some of the most stunning landscapes in the country, all for a cause that truly changes lives. https://givi.ng/ai64

Achieving your health and fitness goals is all about consistency, effort, and making time for the work. You can set goals and plan your ideal routine, but unless you commit to showing up day after day, progress will be slow—or nonexistent.
Results in fitness don’t come from shortcuts or occasional bursts of motivation; they’re built on the foundation of regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and recovery.
Carving out time for workouts, prioritizing meal prep, and making choices that support your health aren’t always easy, but each small step brings you closer to the results you want.
The hard truth is, if you skip the work or don’t stay consistent, your body won’t change, and the progress will stall.
But when you show up for yourself, push through tough days, and keep putting in the effort, your body and health will reflect that dedication, rewarding you with strength, energy, and resilience.
