Great weekend at the Glasgow International Swim Meet. In a meet slightly outside our training pattern, the swimmers had the chance to test themselves on the international stage - national teams from Ireland, Denmark, Iceland and a Scottish National select. After a great distance time trial on Friday night - the squad returns full force to the University of Aberdeen Age Group Open.
After two sessions, we have Keziah McCappin, Madison Gallacher, Lexine McCappin, Lisa McNair, Suzie McNair, Zoe Crawford, Zuzia Smith and Aidan McCavish returning for the night session finals! ππ»ππ»ππ» 14 between them....
Over this we've already had Suzie's GOLD in 400IM and SILVER in 200 Back π₯, Zuzia's 6th and Lisa's GOLD in the same event - π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώππ½ββοΈππ»ββοΈπ₯ππ»
Across the rest of the squad we've hardly had a swim not a best time - incredible with SNAGS being just a couple of weeks ago!

The second seed 2007 there and lines up 5th fastest Scot behind Team GB regulars ππ»ππ»

Day 2 at the West District pre-SNAGS Meet and the swimming didn't disappoint...
Yet again the swimmers from across the FIRST family delivered 28 medals! No fewer than 11 GOLDS! π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯

A really fantastic first day at 2022 West District pre-SNAGS Meet today... Between the three partner clubs in the FIRST Performance Pathway (GASC, Bo'ness and Falkirk Otters) we came home with 28 medals π₯π₯π₯including 9 Golds!
Gold medals π₯ from Cameron Gill, Lisa McNair, Suzie McNair, Zoe Crawford, Grace Blair and Ruaraidh Stevenson and a heap of SNAGS consideration and qualifying times from the biggest team we've had at Tollcross for some time ππ»ππ»ππ»
Great to have coaches, team managers and audience (!) all there in support π
