Well done to our Runners-Up — Sadiq & Jeffery (GOLD) and Azim & Arnab (SILVER) — for their tremendous efforts and for delivering exciting, high-quality finals.

Special congratulations to Shujan bhai, the tournament’s highest-ranked player and Man of the Tournament. His performance, skill, and athleticism were outstanding throughout. 🔥👏

🌟 ABBC Annual Dinner 2026 – A Night to Remember 🌟

Alhamdulillah, the Aberdeen Bangladeshi Badminton Club (ABBC) Annual Dinner and Victory Day Doubles Tournament Prize Giving Ceremony held at Light of Bengal on Tuesday 20th January 2026 was a wonderful success. It was an evening filled with great food, lots of laughter, and memorable moments shared within our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Light of Bengal team for their warm hospitality and generous support in making the evening so special.

Sincere appreciation to all ABBC sponsors and organisers for their dedication and hard work behind the scenes. Special thanks to ABBC management committee for the excellent event presentation, and for the thoughtful reminders. Management presented the clubs previous success and future plans for 2026.

Aberdeen Bangladeshi Badminton Club (ABBC) is thrilled to announce its outstanding success at the All Scotland Bangladeshi Badminton Tournament, hosted by Lal Sobuj Sporting Club on Sunday, 1st June 2025. Competing against 16 teams from across the Scotland, two teams from ABBC emerged victorious, securing both the Champions and Runners-up trophies. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, talent, and team spirit of our players.

ABBC All-Scotland Bangladesh Badminton Tournament 2024 – A Day to Remember!

On Sunday, 17th November 2024, the ABBC All-Scotland Bangladesh Badminton Tournament took place at Lockside Academy in Aberdeen. This highly anticipated event brought together 16 teams from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, creating a fantastic day of sportsmanship, athleticism, and excitement.

The tournament was a huge success, with a remarkable turnout from players and guests alike. The day was filled with competitive matches, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of all participants. Special thanks to all those who traveled from Edinburgh and Glasgow to make this event so vibrant and engaging.

We would like to congratulate the CHAMPIONS of the tournament, Abdullah and Nadim. The RUNNER-UP position went to Shahjahan and Shujan, while Zakir and Sadiq secured third place. A special mention goes to Tanvir Babu, who was awarded the Player of the Tournament for his outstanding contribution throughout the event.
