Celebrate your wins.
Just because progress might feel slow doesn’t mean there’s nothing to celebrate along the way — no matter what your fitness goal is.
🏃♀️ Celebrate being consistent with your workouts.
🍴 Celebrate logging your nutrition daily.
🏋🏼♂️ Celebrate hitting new weights lifted.
📈 Celebrate the changes in your fitness levels weekly.
You get the idea.
Even if your main goal feels far away, it doesn’t mean you’re not moving forward. Celebrate the little wins — they’ll make the whole process way more enjoyable.
And if you don’t have anyone to share those wins with, tell me! I love hearing about what people are achieving.

After speaking to a few clients and people within the gym about how best to track the progress of their new year goals, I wanted to come on here and highlight the benefits of progress pictures and measurements, as well as other forms of progress tracking.
We are all quick to jump on the scales and check our progress when we are focussing on making changes to our body. And when things aren’t showing what you hope to see we always seem doubt our progress.
What if I told you that there are other ways to check on your progress that will more likely show your progress every time you do them, compared to that of the scales.
Things like progress pictures and measurements can properly show the progress you are making. Alongside tracking things such as weight and volume lifted within the gym.
If things are truly going the right way and your body is changing, these things will show them.
This does not mean you should stop using the scales if you still want to use them, but you can use these other metrics along side them to help see changes and progress in a few different ways while not only relying on one form of tracking.
Progress comes in different forms so use them to your advantage and see how many different ways your body is adapting and changing while you are working towards to overall goal.
🎅🏻 MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎄
Thank you to everyone who has followed me as supported this page and my business over this last year, and to those who have supported me previously to that also.
I hope you have a great time this Christmas and you enjoy all that food and drink that I am sure most of us are looking forward to.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their New Year goals whatever they may be.
A special thank you goes out to my clients for the support they have given me throughout the year, you have smashed old goals and are all well on your way to smashing your new goals, and I cannot wait to see how you get on next year!
And a massive thank you to my Fiancé Levi, who has supported me through thick and thin and has been a great help throughout this year, from taking photos and making some of my images to just cheering me on within my business.
I can't wait to see what 2026 brings us all, hopefully, great things.

The gym doesn’t have to be the be all or end all of everything you do.
When it comes to the gym having a routine can help you maintain a consistent schedule for you to workout each week.
However, things do pop up that can be out of our control and it means that your routine may change, which sometimes can make it feel harder to stay consistent.
This is especially true around this festive time of year.
Don’t stress yourself out and worry if you miss a session.
Unless you are aiming to be someone who is competing at a high level, the gym should not take over your life. And even then some downtime is a good thing.
Routines will change and things will come up, so try not to stress and just enjoy your downtime.
You can reorganise your session for another day!

If you are struggling to stay consistent and would like some help with some accountability please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Tuesday thoughts 💭
Surround yourself with positivity and support.
It all goes a long way!
(Pictured below is my Fiancé Levi and myself. We both support each other in everything we do and I wouldn’t change it for the world)

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY!
Thank you Everyone.
As part of today, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Beyond the Bar over the last little while. If it were not for all your support in any way, I may not have been here now, still working towards a business that is able to help many people with their fitness and health goals.
-
I would also like to support other small businesses so I would like everyone to share and tag other small businesses that you love to support, and you think other would love as well.
