Scottish Hockey North District were sad to hear that Pete Bavidge, founder of Quasar Hockey Club has passed away after a short illness.

Pete was a stalwart of North hockey, and put a huge amount of passion and energy into developing hockey in Moray over a period of 30 years and more.

He was an enthusiastic supporter of both indoor and outdoor forms of the game, and had a track record of developing young players at all levels - some of whom who would go on to represent Scotland. Pete achieved a lot in a career as a player, coach and driving force on the Quasar committee and he will be sadly missed.

Our condolences go out to his family and the wider Moray hockey community ahead of his funeral next week.

Participants must be 14 years +. Cost is £5 per head. Minimum of 10 participants required for practical session on 15th Feb at Cults Academy.

With the season just around the corner, Scottish Hockey North District are urgently looking to recruit a new treasurer to sit on the Executive Committee. This is an essential role that needs to be filled ASAP, with the District unable to function properly without this key position being filled.

No hockey experience required for a couple of hours commitment per month. Accounts are simple Receipts & Payments accounts. Please help and share! Any questions please PM the Exec.
