This week we launched a new heavy-duty headset press, built around a stout 12mm stainless steel threaded rod for increased rigidity and robustness.

The press will be sold as a complete set with a pair of larger T-bar handles, two stepped drifts, a centring cone and thrust bearings.

Though we’ll continue to sell our M8 headset press for those looking to maintain compatibility with the T-bar handles used for our other presses, the M12 version will be the go-to option for workshop use.

This is the first major ground-up redesign of our expanding puller since its launch back in 2015.

The V2 design’s key features:

- A ridge at the tip interfaces with the chamfer on the back of the bearing’s inner race, dramatically increasing grip
