πŸ‰ NEXT MATCH POSTPONED

Unfortunately, our match against Skye this weekend has been postponed, as Skye were unable to field a team.

It’s a real shame, as we had 22 players ready to travel and get stuck into the game, following some great numbers at training this week. πŸ’ͺ

We’ll hopefully get the fixture rearranged soon and look forward to welcoming Skye back onto the pitch when we do.

Thanks to everyone who was ready to make the trip this weekend β€” we’ll see you at training! πŸ‰πŸ˜€

πŸ‰ U16s 2026/27 League Campaign Underway! πŸ’ͺ

At the weekend our U16s travelled to Shetland for their first league match of the season and what a way to get started!

After a tight first half, with Wands leading 19–17, a stunning burst of four tries in the second half saw us pull clear. Shetland fought hard to get back into the game, but grit, determination and some excellent rugby saw Wands run out 48–29 winners. πŸ”₯

A huge thank you to Shetland RFC for their fantastic hospitality and best of luck for the rest of your campaign.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to NorthLink Ferries and Loganair for all their help and support in arranging the team’s travel and logistics. βœˆοΈβ›΄οΈ

A brilliant start! 2026/27 is officially up and running! πŸ’™πŸ‰

A huge thank you to Alan, Sharon, Lisa and Leanna for their work on the BBQ and in the cafe, and to James and Mossez for looking after everyone on the bar. πŸ”πŸ»

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who have worked behind the scenes over the past month in preparation for the start of the season.

It’s been a busy period, and all the hard work that has gone into the cafe, BBQs, bar, club DIY, cleaning and general tidy-ups has been hugely appreciated. πŸ‘

It takes a lot of work off the pitch to get a rugby club ready for a new season, and we’re lucky to have such a great team both on and off the pitch. πŸ’™πŸ’š

Here’s to a great season! πŸ‰
