We are delighted to announce four of our athletes were chosen to represent Scotland in the Home International Regatta 2022 at London Docklands this past weekend.

Morgan Nunez, Brighde Watt, and Emily Carruthers all learnt to row at URA and represented Scotland as part of the Senior Woman’s Sweep Team in the 4+, 4- and 4- respectively, as well as all making an appearance in the 8+. This was their first time representing Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Andrew Dunse came to URA as a junior who learnt to row at . After rowing as a junior for HIR, Andrew continued this success by rowing in the Senior Men’s Sweep Team, in the 4- and the 8+! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Myles, our Head Coach for 2021-22 season, was also chosen to coach the Senior Woman’s Sweep Team.

After racing some tough competition our athletes came away with a mix of results, including a 2nd in the W4+, and four thirds in the W4-, M4- and W8+ (both the 500m and 2km events).

We are incredibly proud of all our athletes hard work and determination to get into the team, and being able to row as a senior athlete for Scotland is an incredible achievement in itself 💪🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
