A fantastic climax to the 2026 Benachie League season tonight.
After gaining promotion to League A last season the objective was to consolidate our place up with the big boys and avoid relegation.
Well thanks to a 60-48 win tonight at home to Kemnay we've finished with 10 points only narrowly missing out on second place on shot difference.
Our two defeats came away from home to the top two (Harlaw A and Tarves) but those games apart, the whole squad can be proud of their performance throughout the campaign.
A massive thanks from myself and Mainzer to everyone who has played their part 👏
For the record, Harlaw A are Champions, Pitmedden and Newmachar have been relegated to League B, Rothienorman and Harlaw B have been promoted to League A.

In the Triples, also versus Abergeldie, the home lads won by 10 and the away lads won by 14 to come away with the maximum 5 points continuing their stellar season 👏

Not to be for our Gents Triples team of Craig, Graeme and Mainzer who were beaten by Tarves in the Bowls Scotland District 3 Final tonight at Harlaw.
The lads played really well though in a high quality match which was finely balanced at 7-7 after 11 ends. Tarves however scored a 4 and a 3 in ends 12 and 13 respectively which in the end was the difference. Massive credit though boys, a great run and you did yourselves and the club proud. 👏👏

A comprehensive 69-36 win for the lads at home to Kintore tonight in our penultimate Benachie Division A match of the 2026 season. 👏👏
Depending on shot difference, a win at home next week against Kemnay could see us clinch 2nd place which would be our highest league finishing position for a good number of years. (I'm sure someone will tell us how many years).
Well done lads, a brilliant performance all round tonight 👏
