⚠️Thursday 8th Jan Venue Update ⚠️

Aberdeen Tennis Centre will open from 12pm until 8pm today.

All Coached Programme morning and afternoon classes are cancelled.

These measures will be reassessed at 8am tomorrow or if weather worsens throughout the day.

As with yesterday, conditions across the city remain difficult, including for members and for staff travelling in from further afield.

At this stage, we plan to reopen tomorrow at 10am, though this may change depending on conditions.

One of our Lead Active Schools Coordinators Sarah Fraser attended Judy Murray’s ‘Learn to Lead’ launch event last Thursday in Edinburgh. 🎾

Learn to Lead is an exciting new initiative to equip and empower young girls to become Scotland’s next generation of sporting leaders. 🥳

Sarah has done a fantastic job of piloting the programme within our Active Schools team. 👏

Thanks to successful funding secured from Sportscotland’s Sport Facilities Fund, our recently renovated outdoor tennis courts at Northfield Outdoor Sports Centre will have new floodlights installed covering three courts. 🎾

The floodlights will allow for play during the winter months, increasing the access and giving more people the opportunity to play.
