OPEN LETTER TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS PROJECT

To everyone who has been part of this journey since the 2014–15 season, I want to speak to you from the heart.

When I was given the responsibility of taking Bridge of Don Thistle JFC towards the higher end of Junior football , I knew it would take more than ambition it would take people with graft, belief, and a willingness to climb together. If it wasn’t for your hard work and dedication, none of what we achieved would have been possible. We faced challenges, setbacks, and moments that tested us, but we kept moving forward. And for that, I am proud of every single one of you who played a part in this project.

Many of you came in as boys and left as men with some members still at the club ,determined to keep growing and commit to each other. We developed together. We built something real. Some could only stay for part of the journey, but many stayed for the long haul, and together we reached a level we can all be proud of.

I also leave behind history still to be made. I now hand over to the current committee, management, and squad, a group in a strong position to continue the work ethic that defined us and to chase the new historic challenges ahead.

All good things come to an end, and this is my moment to say goodbye.

Football has always been a major part of my life, and it has given me memories, friendships, and moments I will carry forever. So to all of you:

Happy to meet.
Sorry to depart.
Happy to meet again.
