We’re on as normal throughout the remainder of the school holidays. Kicking the week off with our all ages family class tonight 1730-1830!

Perfect opportunities with the quieter classes to get practising our new syllabus following the recent grading👊

Was great to support the team down in East Kilbride today.

Congratulations to Kayla Morris from ICON Taekwon-Do Aberdeen on her achievements today:

The team came 5th overall and as always supported one another with their motivational words, cheers of encouragement, and the occasional Tiktok dance break🕺

The spring is near! On the downside… we have some roadworks on Palmerston Road.

Please allow extra time and care when making your way to training over the next two weeks as there is less parking than usual.

Our grading is on the 18th of March! So let’s get training hard and working on our syllabus in preparation.

Our first grading, the ICON Championships, and competing internationally for the first time! It fills me with SO much pride to add the new memories to our wall that we have made since opening ICON Taekwon-Do Aberdeen.

Looking forward to supporting this event, for most students it is their first competition of 2026.

Great opportunity for beginners to get involved in competing, as well as developing the skills of those who wish to compete further into the year.

We’re back tonight for three fun-filled, action-packed, classes.

1730-1815 Rainbows 3-7 years
1815-1900 8+ years Beginner Taekwon-Do
1900-2000 8+ years Intermediate Taekwon-Do

We will be gearing up for ICON’s first development competition of the year. More information at class!

So proud of the team for all they achieved on their first international stage!

ICON Taekwon-Do Aberdeen brought home two medals, with the squad achieving an impressive 19 medals overall!🥇🥈🥉

Really excited to be supporting ICON Taekwon-Do’s first development competition of 2026 in Fife!

For those who can attend, it’s a brilliant opportunity (especially for beginners) to gain confidence and experience in a competitive setting which is friendly and supportive.

More information will be providing at class.

The first local event of the year is our JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION which takes place on Saturday 21st February at Cadham Neighbourhood Centre.

ALL Icon students aged under 18yrs (regardless of experience) should be participating in this event.

They are good events, where students can gain valuable experience)

Our wee troopers finishing the week right with “Fight Club” sparring class on Friday.

Excellent effort from our all ages family class tonight, was great to see some extra parents joining in as part of our “Bring a Friend Fortnight” promotion!

We had such a fantastic first week back last week, thank-you for all your hard work!

Tonight kicks off our “Bring a Friend Fortnight”. For every friend, family member, neighbour, or parent you bring along to a class you will receive one entry into our prize draw.

Prizes consist of ICON branded clothing, sparring gear and FREE training packages.

We look forward to welcoming some new faces to class over the next couple of weeks🥋
