The Winter Olympics have arrived! Lots of curling to be enjoyed over the next little while! Check out for their showings of all the games! Also how cute is Cariss the Curling Stone from released for the games! Great to see curling represented!

Curling Season is back! This week they are hosting the Pre-Olympic Qualifier for the men’s and women’s teams! Check it out to see some great curling! Haddo House will be back on the ice next week! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Curl Aberdeen under threat of closure as urgent fundraising appeal launched The chairman of the curling rink has told members: "Without your help, we will have to stop trading."

Last Sunday the annual Haddo vs Meldrum and Daviot competition was held ! The final overall scores were Haddo 21 Meldrum and Daviot 14 so another Haddo House win for the season!

Last night we held our annual points competition. As this admin was the current defending ladies champion the pressure was on to retain the title 🙈, last years win was definitely luck!! We managed 7 challenges in total and the results were as follows

It’s been a busy season here for Haddo Curling Club! Our first Haddo League has finished with Roy Henderson’s team winning the league, Craig Hamilton in 2nd, Andrew Henderson in 3rd and Martin Forster and Kyle Henderson in the 4th and 5th respectively!

We also had a Haddo Team, where all teams have rotated through the Thursday Curl Aberdeen Club League. Currently Haddo House sit in 6th place with 4 wins, 1 peel and 3 losses! This league continues into the second half of the season…..here’s to more good curling 🤝🏼!

Lastly on Tuesday Haddo House held their annual Christmas Bonspiel which so the return of some our Try Curlers. A great night was had by all! The final results were Roy Henderson’s team overall winners, with Craig Hamilton’s team nipping at his heels with one shot behind! Dennis Stewart’s team won the best prize of the evening where they scooped up the wooden spoon but comes with the bonus of chocolate!

So last night Haddo House hosted a very successful Try Curling session! Over 25 people came to try and it was safe to say a great night was had by all! Thanks to Curl Aberdeen for providing excellent coaching! Hoping to have some of the try curlers back very soon!

The 24-25 Curling Season has Started!

Apologies for being so quiet on here but hopefully this season we can keep you up to date and share some events that are happening within the club! We also have a new Instagram page so be sure to check us out on there too!

Tuesday so the return of the Haddo House Club league! The scores finished with 4-10 with Martin Forster vs Roy Henderson and 3-8 with Kyle Henderson vs Craig Hamilton. The second score was a close game with peel going into the last end where Craig's team picked up 5!

Haddo House are also trialling something new this year and have entered the Curl Aberdeen Club League on a Thursday night. This week was the turn of Andrew Henderson's team vs AWW2 which finished 9-7 so got Haddo off to the winning start! Hopefully we can keep this up for the rest of the season.
