Come and join DYC for the inaugural KEEL BOAT REGATTA ⛵️
2 days of Keelboat racing in Cardigan Bay with a fleet start for Hawk 20’s and a general Handicap fleet for any type of keel boat or yacht with bilge, lifting or fin keel. There is a suggested maximum draft of 2 metres for entry in and out of the Dyfi Estuary.
Racing will be conducted under the RYA Portsmouth Handicap Scheme and in adherence with the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2025-2028. For any class of boat of 3 or more an additional fleet start will be considered. Visitor deep water moorings, alongside drying berths and anchoring options are available.
Dovey yacht Club/Clwb Hwylio Dyfi will host the regatta with a social event and meal on Saturday evening.

What a weekend at DYC! We had the pleasure of hosting a training weekend made up of Toppers on this occasion with talented youth sailors including Welsh squad members travelling from across Wales to experience the magic of Aberdyfi ☀️
The training was expertly delivered by National Coaches & Jonny Everett while being hosted and supported by DYC. A huge thank you to everyone for delivering an inspiring weekend and to all the sailors for bringing the energy as always ✨
