Well, what a fabulous weekend we had! We hope you all enjoyed it too. Please feel free to share any of your photos on this page and let us know if we might use them to help advertise next year's event.
We will set a date for next year as soon as possible, as we need to take into account the tides and other kite events - keep an eye out here for updates.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success, with special mention to the councillors who cleared the boardwalk, the councillors who helped both days to move equipment and kites onto & off the beach (Dewi's van was invaluable), kite flyers who ran the kite-making workshops, Des and the Neuadd Dyfi. Thanks also to the Britannia Inn, Dovey Inn, Walker's Fish & Chips and the Yacht Club for all their support, which was very much appreciated by all the kite flyers, and lastly the long-suffering husbands and partners who were drafted in to help as well! Of course the biggest thanks must go to the kite flyers themselves, who come from all over the UK to provide this spectacle for free and in their spare time - thank you everyone!!
