Our newly formed Aberfan FC Under 16 boys turned up in fantastic numbers for their first session tonight, and what a great group of lads they are.

This team has really come together through the players themselves, showing the enthusiasm, commitment, and desire to create something special. That’s exactly the kind of attitude we love to see at our club.

The coaches who took the session couldn’t speak highly enough of them, saying they were an absolute pleasure to coach from start to finish. Their attitude, effort, and willingness to learn were first class.

We’re delighted to welcome them as part of our ever-growing Aberfan FC family this season. With the quality on show tonight, there’s no doubt this squad has some real classy footballers in its ranks, and we’re excited to see what they can achieve together.

Wow!! What an amazing last training session for our girls team! The girl's had so much fun, they got their adults involved in their training session and we had some major competition going on (the adults were worse than the kids) and the girl's absolutely smashed it!
So it will come as no shock, that the winner of the Under 8's girls vs adults were:
THE GIRL'S 💃 💃
💪

And the winners of the kids vs adults got to soak the others with the water guns! So you can imagine the carnage that ensued!

This Sunday 12th July is set to be a fantastic day at Aberfan, with a full afternoon of football followed by live music in the beer garden!

🎶 Then from 5:30pm, head over to the Aberfan Social Beer Garden where we’re delighted to welcome the brilliant duo Nicky Pendry & Jay-Leigh Evans for an afternoon of live music to round off the perfect Sunday.

🍺 With the weather looking promising, why not make a day of it? Enjoy some great football, relax with a drink in the sunshine, and finish the day with fantastic live entertainment.
