Another glorious Bowling week here at A.B.C. Great weather all week and lots of competitive bowls enjoyed by all.
This weeks competition The Club Pairs saw last nights final played out between Tom MacDougall and Mary Williams and George Dark and Jimmy Hermiston.
Congratulations to our winning pair George and Jimmy.

Friday night at Aberfeldy Bowling Club saw the culmination of the weeks knockout play in the Greenscape pairs competition in a final between the George Dark / Douglas Craik pair and the Tom MacDougall / Ian Page pair.
Congratulations to the winning pair George and Douglas. Thank you to all the participants especially to our newer members for their contribution to what was a fine week of bowls in glorious weather.

Today, Sunday, 14th June at Aberfeldy Bowling Club saw 24 competing teams of Triples looking to win the Rose and Campbell Trophy and of course for the sponsors added prizes for our winners, runners up and semi finalists.
Our thanks then to our sponsors Dewars World of whisky and to Cross Civil and Construction Services Ltd for their very generous support once again
Our thanks also to all of our 72 competing players for their sportsmanship throughout the days play.
Our congratulations goes to the winning triple of Peter Gardiner, Colin Dow and Chris Boynes after a very closely contested final against Charlie Norris' triple.
A most enjoyable day of Bowls
and a special thank you to Audrey Slorance Adam Gallie and the team of helpers for the breakfast rolls, lunches and afternoon teas and finally to those members who covered the Bar.

Please note that now that there are 2 draws on a Saturday evening the 1st draw each Saturday night will count for the winning number for our club Bonus Ball.

Today at Aberfeldy Bowling Club saw the first (of hopefully many annual) RUGBY CLUB BOWLS CHALLENGE day amongst the Aberfeldy Rugby Club members.
A terrific fun but also competitive day was had by all and the new trophy went to the overall winners ALAN and ED. It was a pleasure to host the Rugby Club and particular thanks goes to Adam Gallie for organising the day and the BBQ and not forgetting the other Bowling Club members for their contribution to making the day such a success.
