In June 1992 one of the largest crowds for a number of years gathered on the banks of the River Tay on a bright summers day, to watch the final Great Kenmore to Aberfeldy Raft Race. Scotlad from Letham finally made it over the finish line in first place, ahead of 101 other teams, after a number of years of competing at the front end. First Ladies team was Valkyrie from Blackburn.
