We’re getting our final plans together so going to close off for GoD entries on Monday evening.

You want the good news or the bad news? 🤔
The good news is that by the time you Grand Old Dukes riders reach this point on the route you’ll have just one more climb to go.
The bad news? That last one is a punchy wee bu**er 😂. Especially with 100 miles and nearly 10,000ft of gravel in the legs!
Still, if you’ve got the capacity to look up and enjoy that view, then it all feels pretty special 🥰.
(From memory I just about mustered that effort!)
P.S. We’ll be on last call for entries this week if you’re not in yet and want a piece of this! 👌

Conditions are dreamy out there right now… 😍
Managed to sneak in a little Friday spin… Panic training 2 weeks out? 👀
If you’re hitting this weekend you’re in for a treat!!

Our own just absolutely smashed the Highland Trail 550 race, winning the women’s race and finishing 3rd overall 👏. Incredible.
Thankfully though, her little “holiday” around the Highlands is now over, so she can get back to organising Grand Old Dukes for the rest of us at the end of the month.
For context, Kerry just rode 912km around Scotland in under 4 days…
That’s more than 5 times the distance of Grand Old Dukes.
The good news is GoD also has:
• no bogs
• significantly less river swimming
• a lower chance of sleeping in a public toilet
• and definitely more champagne gravel
So honestly, it should feel pretty manageable.
That said, I once tried to hold ’s wheel to the GoD finish line and can confirm there are still plenty of ways to suffer.
Apparently entries are flying in this week, which is down to the social media guy 👀. Not many spots left though.
P.S. Kerry hasn’t sent any HT550 photos yet (slacker), so the first is from the amazing who were at the finish line and a few of her in here the Gravelfoyle wilderness.
P.P.S. We’re actually very, very proud of you pal. So much love ❤️

How many stunning loch’s do you ride past in the 111 miles of the Grand Old Dukes?
Just the NINE!!! 🤯
It’s true there is a lot of water around these parts and fortunately it makes for some epic views. Each loch has its own story too…
Drunkie, Chon, Achray, Katrine and so much more. Just ask our own about them and you’ll get the full details of mythical stories and Gaelic names.
Not long left to get your entry in for this equally epic and wonderful gravel challenge.
111 miles, 10k ft of climbing and yes lots and lots of lochs. 🙌
The Grand Old Dukes on May 31st 😍

Event director appreciation post incoming!!!
One of the reasons we know the Grand Old Dukes route is SO good… is because of the people behind it.
One of those is our own queen of , who tomorrow heads off to take part in her 3rd Highland Trail 550 race.
Now, with the Grand Old Dukes event only a few weeks away, there are definitely easier ways to slack off organising duties than disappearing into the Highlands to ride 550 miles across some wild terrain… but we respect the commitment 😂.
If you know Kerry then you’ll know she’s not your average bike rider. She’s had quite the career on two wheels and over the last few years become an absolute ultra boss. Holding the Badger Divide FKT, winning multiple multi-day races and recently finishing 2nd in the Atlas Mountain Race.
But we know the HT550 is a special one to her, and yet again we’ll be finding ourselves waking up at 2am just to check a dot on a screen somewhere in the Highlands. Absolute mega fans.
Good luck pal! 🙌
