If you’re interested in joining a yoga class, either to try out for the first time or to get back into a regular practice, then we have a few spots available in each class.
We practice Hatha Yoga, which is a gentle and beautiful practice that you can adapt to suit you. We have small group classes in the community centre where I guide the class to make it easy to follow, and can lend you a mat if you don’t have one.

If you weren’t sure if yoga is for you, then come and try a class or two. There are still a couple of places left in each class this week, if you book early.
There are many styles of yoga and lots of different teachers so it’s worth trying out a few to find one that feels right for you.
Beginners/Gentle Yoga - This class has a lovely mixed ability group of people. Suitable for anyone, whether you’re new to yoga, or haven’t practiced for a while, or perhaps prefer slow gentle movements. E start off sitting in our mats, practising breathwork and mindful stillness, then go through a short sequence of stretches (forward fills, back bends, twists and balances) before taking a deep rest.
HATHA YOGA all levels - this class is a longer and more energised practice but is also suitable for complete beginners. All instructions are demonstrated so you can follow along and find your own way of moving through the practice, which includes breathwork, meditation and deep rest.

Hatha Yoga is a pathway into living with greater compassion, clarity and contentment, through a combined practice of meditation (and mindfulness), breathwork, and moving through yoga poses.
This is something that you can practice with us and use in daily life.
Hatha Yoga is suitable for everyone, to practice at their own pace, with no need to already be flexible. Just practice as you are today.

✨ Yoga Upside Down ✨
Ever wondered why a pose feels the way it does? Or how to make it work better for your body?
This playful, small-group workshop is a chance to slow down, ask questions, use props, and explore Hatha Yoga poses from a fresh perspective — no rushing, no pressure.
We’ll warm up, break things down, and gently experiment (sometimes upside down, sometimes not 😉), with plenty of support, hands-on guidance and space to learn.

For those of you booked into classes this week — or thinking of dropping in — here’s a little update due to the weather 🌧️❄️
Thursday 8th
Tonight’s class is still going ahead 🙏
If you’re not able to walk, please allow a bit of extra time for parking. The class is full, and the car park often fills up quickly on Thursdays 🚗⏰
Friday 9th
Class cancelled ❌
The Community Centre has taken the wise decision to close tomorrow due to the severe weather warnings. I’ll contact everyone who’s booked directly and reissue your passes so you won’t lose out 💌
Saturday 10th
We’re keeping an eye on things 👀
This will depend on whether there’s snow and if access is safe. I’ll post an update on social media and contact those booked directly as soon as a decision is made ❄️
