Huddle Approved 🫶 👧 🙍🏻‍♀️🧑🏽‍🦰👩🏽‍🦱

Abergavenny Rhinos FC are extremely excited to announce we have had an application approved from the FAW to host girls football camps. https://faw.cymru/huddle/

What is Huddle?

Huddle is the fun and friendly place where girls, aged between four and eleven, fall in love with football. With centres across Wales, the sessions offer a relaxed, sociable and friendly place for a positive first experience of football.

Huddle is delivered by clubs and partners across Wales who want to grow the number of girls playing football in their local area. Girls can expect to make new friends, learn some football skills through fun games and build their confidence throughout the sessions.

Then, if they want to progress onto a club team, the coaches will know where to direct them, but for those that are happy playing in Huddle sessions, they’re welcome to just play there.

We will be starting off our Huddle sessions to coincide with Wales competing in the forthcoming Euros by offering free session’s for any girl aged between 4-8yrs old who wants to try football

The 1st session will commence Saturday 28th June 10-11am @

Only children who are booked onto the sessions will be able to take part so please book your daughter onto the sessions by following this link

Very proud to announce a long time Abergavenny Rhino player (since age of 3 as a soccer tot) is leaving the club to join the FAW academy structure with Merthyr Town. Owen Baker has been a fantastic part of the club for over a decade and will be missed as a player and also a person, he's a great kid. From Cup winning penalty saves to "bangers" in training; Owen has given me some fantastic memories and we all wish him the very best in his next adventure. Best of luck to Owen from myself and everyone at Abergavenny Rhinos 🔴⚫️🦏⚽️🧤
