Applications are now open for players interested in joining Abergavenny Netball Club ANC for the 2026 season‼️

We are seeking committed players with previous netball experience who are looking to develop their game and be part of a competitive, supportive club.

Teams ranging from Division 4 through to Premiership, we offer opportunities across multiple grades.

Whether you’re new to the area, returning to the game, or looking for a fresh challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Abergavenny B v Silurians A POTM and Captains Players 👏

Oppositions player went to Captain Molly (again!) who works so hard in both attack and defence. A steady force in C on Saturday, she reads the game perfectly to defend every pass and feed the circle on target every time. Molly came up with so many interceptions and deflections we lost count, and ends every game with almost no mistakes consistently.

Captains Players went to Ash & Vick jointly. Our attacking end showed its full capabilities with excellent link play, feeds to post and shooting accuracy. Leading the way were our GA and WA combo of Ash and Vic!

Ash had a really strong game offering perfectly times circle drives and excellent shooting statistics.
Vic played her usual strong game as primary circle feeder and was working tirelessly in the mid court to ensure we alway had the next pass option available.
The link play between these two was excellent this week. Well played girls!

Abergavenny B 51 - Silurians A 37 🏀

A win for our B team on Saturday, coming up against Silurians A team who are similarly ranked in the table.

A strong start took us a few goals up, and a consistent 4 quarter performance from everyone resulted in a fantastic win. The squad fought from the first whistle, with attack firing and shooting on point. Mid court were steady and precise, with turnovers galore from the defence who worked hard against the opponents accurate shooters.

Everyone pulled together to maintain a lead in a great game, thanks to Silurians who are always fab to come up against.

Abergavenny D v Abertillery E POTM and Coaches Player 👏

Oppositions player went to Fern this week, and coaches player went to Annabel. Both had great games and played really well.
Well done girls, keep it up 🎉

Abergavenny D 22 - Abertillery E 45 🏀

Strong start from the girls, with some of them out of position. Unfortunately the score slipped away from us but the girls head their head high & kept going, with some beautiful game play through the court. The team continues to become stronger each week & we go again next week. 💪

Abergavenny C v Abercarn Astros POTM and Captains Players 👏

PoTM- Callie who is a force to be reckoned with in GK/GD. Callie left nothing on court, providing interceptions and turnovers throughout. A very deserved PoTM

CPOTM - A massive thank you to both Lucy and Lou Lou for stepping up from U14s and supporting the Cs. Both took to court with no fear, having strong games whilst creating some beautiful play during their first matches in division 3. Well done girls!

Abergavenny C 27 - Abercarn Astros 36 🏀

Last Saturday saw the Cs with a only 6 players available, utilising two under 14 players, come up against Abercarn Astros.

There were some great passages of play throughout the game, however some misplaced feeds and unforced errors ultimately cost us the win. Well done to the girls for not giving up until the final whistle and closing the goal deficit in the third and fourth quarter.

Abergavenny B v Chepstow POTM and Captains Player 👏

Oppositions POTM went to Bry, which was thoroughly deserved. She was relentless in her hunger for the ball, anything loose she was on it! Really good turnovers and tight 1-on-1, well played Bry 💪

Captains player went to Lou, for a brilliant game forcing errors from the opposition due to tight marking and allowing us to capitalise on her turnovers. A strong lean over every shot, giving away very few penalties with a clean game.

Abergavenny B 40 - Chepstow 32 🏀

Bs came back fighting on Saturday to secure a win against a strong side in Chepstow. A close game throughout, losing the first half but we pulled away in the second half to take the win by 8 goals.

A fantastic team effort, going in positively and continuing to fight until the end. Some great shooting, unstoppable defence and lovely flow down the court. We minimised on errors made across the last two games, and hope to continue working on our game in training to put new skills into play 💪
