Another week of fantastic netball is complete, with all of our teams continuing to show determination, teamwork, and a real commitment to developing throughout the summer season 💙

It’s been great to see players stepping up, supporting one another, and growing in confidence with every match. Whether it’s a result on the scoreboard or personal progress on court, every game is an opportunity to learn and improve 🩵

It certainly wasn’t your typical week of netball, with the heatwave making conditions even more challenging on court! A huge well done to all of our players for giving their all, staying resilient, and continuing to represent the club with determination, teamwork, and great sportsmanship despite the soaring temperatures 💜

As our final post for this Volunteers’ Week, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our long serving volunteers, Jade 💜

Over many years, Jade has dedicated countless hours to supporting the club, helping it grow, and creating opportunities for players across all age groups. Jade’s leadership, commitment, and passion for netball have helped shape the club into what it is today 💙

As part of Volunteers’ Week, we’re taking a look behind the scenes of our recent Awards Night 💜🏆

Events like these don’t just happen on their own. From planning and organising to setting up, decorating, coordinating awards, taking photos and making sure everything runs smoothly on the night, there are countless hours of volunteer time involved

While players take centre stage on the evening, it’s our volunteers working behind the scenes who help make these special moments possible

Our coaches give up their time each week to support training sessions, matches, player development, confidence building and enjoyment of the game across the club

Their commitment, encouragement and support help create a positive environment where players can learn, grow and enjoy being part of a team

As part of Volunteers’ Week, we’d like to introduce our 2026/27 Committee 💜

Our committee members are all volunteers who give their time, energy, and skills behind the scenes to help support the club, our players, coaches, families, and wider netball community 💙

This year, we’re excited to welcome a mix of returning and new committee members who are committed to building on the strong foundations laid by those before them and helping the club continue to grow 🩵

Alongside supporting the day to day running of the club, the committee has already started work on developing a number of goals and priorities for the future. These focus on strengthening coaching, supporting volunteers, improving operations, and creating opportunities to turn member feedback into positive action 👏🏼

We’re looking forward to sharing more about these goals and the plans behind them in the coming weeks 💜
