What a fantastic day celebrating our Lady Captain, Nia Parry Davies, on her Lady Captain’s Day 2026! ⛳️☀️

Played in glorious sunshine with a challenging breeze, the day was enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Tom, Mick and Keith for running the halfway house, keeping everyone refreshed with delicious cakes and drinks throughout the day.

The celebrations continued into the evening with a lovely meal, plenty of laughter, and the prize presentation, where the day’s winners were recognised.

A heartfelt thank you to our Lady Captain, Nia, for a wonderful Captain’s Day, and to everyone who helped make it such a special occasion. It was made even more memorable by being surrounded by Nia’s family and friends.

Congratulations to all of our prize winners, and thank you to everyone who joined us in making it a truly memorable day! 💙🏌️‍♀️

🏌️‍♂️ Denbighshire Past Captains’ Day at Abergele Golf Club 🏆

We were delighted to welcome everyone to Abergele Golf Club on Tuesday 30th July for the Denbighshire Past Captains’ Day, hosted by our member, Derek Williams.

The day began with a warm welcome from Mr President David Richmond and Mr Captain Mel Jones, who introduced Derek before play got underway. Derek thanked everyone for attending, along with Andy and Laura for the wonderful meal, and Tesni for her excellent hospitality throughout the day.

A huge congratulations to our very own Howie Farrall, who was crowned winner of the Past Captains’ Trophy! 👏🏆
