Speyside CLIMBING Centre

URGENT! There will be limited space at the climbing wall until the 20th September due to building works: scaffolding is in the way of a number of the routes and there is no auto belay access. Sorry, all last minute and out of our control.

Please note that from this coming Sunday, Feb 9th, the auto belay will be away for its annual service, thus won't be available for a couple of weeks. A bottom rope will be in place instead.

Our lovely volunteers will be doing some route setting from December 20th. Thus, there will be a few incomplete lines for a week or two, plus a bit of noise and disruption. Hopefully, all will be completed by the first week of the new year.
Please bear with us as we have to work to school holidays and volunteer availability.

Update: the climbing wall will be open tonight!

Due to a boiler issue and possible smoke deposits in the games hall, the climbing wall will be shut tomorrow, Tuesday September 10th.
Hopefully it'll all be resolved for Thursday but it's worth 'phoning reception before you travel to check.

Please not that the climbing wall will be closed on Sunday 16th June, as well as the following Saturday and Sunday.

Please note that the climbing wall will be closed for the next two weekends, opening again on Saturday 25th May. Tuesdays and Thursdays are open as normal.

There will be a slight reduction in the number of lines/routes available this week and next due to our volunteers doing a bit of route setting. It should be all done after the holidays, if not before.

The autobelay will be off for it's annual service from tonight, it'll be around ten days before it's back up and running.

Thursday 18th Jan: the community centre is closed today, thus unfortunately so is the wall.
