Great morning for it today and it showed in our football. First up were Abertillery Excelsior's and from the off we were up for it and got stuck in and dominated most of the game and grabbed a 1-0 win . In the second game we played a strong pontymister and went head to toe with them but a few lapses in concentration and we let our guard down and ended up losing. The third game was a back and forth event which we should have won against a good Blackwood team but a draw was a fair result.The three MOTM were Boden, Fraser and Rhys. Boden with his goalmouth saves were incredible and Fraser and Rhys with their footwork and goals were a joy to watch but I want to mention how all of them played a part this morning and it was great to watch. 🖤💙

Good afternoon all.
A bit better weather outside than it was this morning🙄. I couldn't feel my hands so I can't imagine what some of the lads went through.
Bit of a tough day at the office but we knew it was going to be tough today. Set up slightly different formation wise and I thought it held up OK.
MOTM went to 3 lads......
Boden, some incredible saves bud 👏 Got absolutely stinking in the process 🤣
Jake, rock solid at the back and read the game brilliantly today 👊
Then Fraser, the quality is there for everyone to see, but he works as hard as anyone out there too🔥.

Following on from Simon's comments, I would say this morning was a battle from the start especially with the weather we had. The boys started off very promising with a new formation but a few lapses in concentration and we were unlucky to lose 3-0. The second game we should have mixed it up a bit from the start but we had flashes of what we are capable of and it was a lesson well learnt. The third game we grinded out a great win with some classy football played. The last game was a bit flat but that is understandable with what the boys had to battle through. Big well done to the Three MOTM, Boden you put your body on the line sliding everywhere and pulled off some tremendous saves 👍. Fraser you were everywhere today from attacking to defense, your reading of the game is a joy to watch 👏. Jake was like a rock all morning, you showed some confidence in yourself this morning which showed throughout 👊. Well done everyone. 💙🖤
