Expeds End of Year Meal 2023-24
Thank you to everyone who turned up to a trip or social this year. We hope you've enjoyed it. A special thanks to this year's committee and good luck to next year's committee. We can't wait to see what shenanigans you have in-store for us.
Congratulations to Louisa for getting our most distinguished award, Owain Baglow Award, and also congratulations to Amy and Sarah for being voted the Expeds of the Year!
Also, thank you to Starling Cloud for doing a fantastic job hosting us.

After 25 years of Expeds, an SU club photo was well deserved. Thank you to everyone who was able to show up today :)

What a weekend!!! Thank you to everyone who turned up to our first OAE since the pandemic. What a great way to celebrate Exped's 25th year.
We had Pub golf on the Friday with Jesus winning. Followed by only 4 of us managing it up consti on the Saturday morning. We then went for scran, pool and watched the six nations, while the evening was spent playing games in Ty Seidr. On the Sunday there was more scran and six nations followed by the Y Banera Pub Quiz, where we came 2nd!!!

Hi all, it's St Patrick's Day on Sunday so for the social on Friday I'm expecting everyone to be wearing green. Plan will just be a pub crawl.

Stickin' it on the Summits secured 17th place, and we conquered the campus mile, locking in a proud 7th position. Serious achievements with an awesome team of Expeds and members.

Hi all,

Firstly, apologies for the delay in the post for this week's social. Secondly, social for this Friday is colours. The plan is to turn up dressed up in one colour. You may pick the colour but please try not to choose anything bland like black or grey. Then during the social you will have to try and end up with each item of clothing being a different colour.
As this is a bucket party please pair up when it comes to bringing drinks. 1 bottle of spirit 750ml or higher and a 2 litre bottle of mixer between a pair.
Items not to bring are:
Milk
Juice with bits
Rosé
Dark spirits (Spiced rum is fine)
If you have any allergies please let me know.
Please do NOT pre before arriving to this social! Trust me, it is in your best interest.
Social will be hosted at Louisa's (thank you very much Louisa) but we'll be meeting at the SU and walking there together to save Louisa having to walk all the way down and letting us in individually as we arrive in drabs. However, if you are running late then the address is:

Snow was thrown at Snow, trousers were ripped, and poor rocky is traumatised from Snow threating to drop kick him off the summit.

Glad to say in March we'll be having our first OAE weekend in a while!

Currently what we have planned is:

Friday evening pub golf

Saturday a walk up consti and then down into spoons for scran. In the afternoon people can do what they want but a few of us will be watching the Six Nations in a pub if it's on.
Saturday night some sort of shenanigans in a pub or two

Then on Sunday if anyone is alive we'll be doing bottomless brunch in the White Horse

Will update as we have the finer details sorted

Come dressed in Superteams t-shirts or as an athlete from a Superteams event.
Events this year include: tug of war, bleep test, campus mile, basketball, futsal, tag rugby, gym test, hurdles...

We will venture round the pubs of Aberystwyth fulfilling on-theme challenges. Different challenges = different points scored, most point wins. Rest assured challenges will be different to last social, so bring with you your competitive spirit! We will have some of the sailing society joining so an opportunity to meet some fresh faces.

Disclaimer: Though swimming and water polo are events in Superteams, anyone turning up in bikinis, budgie smuglers or the like will be swiftly turned away to go home and change. It's February guys, no beer blanket is that thick

This week, we'll be having our Challenge Social:

There'll be a list of challenges for everyone to complete. You must have photographic evidence of you completing each challenge. Points are given for each challenge completed. Some challenges can involve alcohol but there's also plenty that do not.
There'll be a prize for the person who has the most points.

With it being Re-freshers, we are also welcoming new members so come along and see what an Exped social is like.
