From all of us here at Oxfordshire Hockey, we hope you have a restful Christmas break, enjoy time with friends and families and recharge those batteries ready for Hockey to resume in January.

A quick reminder that our third session for the U13 and U14 triallists is this Sunday (10/12/23) at Tilsley Park.

This session is by invite only.

If you have attended the previous trial sessions but have not had an email to confirm whether you are invited or not, please DM or email [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The weather forecast suggests that there is no risk of frozen pitches but it does appear to be a wet one (again!)

📢 ❄️ Change of Trial Timings for 03/12/23 ❄️ 📢

Due to the weather forecast and the high risk of a frozen pitch, trial timings have been changed. All players should have received an email with more details.

If you did not receive an email, please first check your junk folder and if it is not in there, contact us via DM on social media or email [email protected] so that the database can be cross referenced.

Please share this so that no one missed the message and we do not have people turning up at the wrong time.

If the session is cancelled on the day, and email and social media will go out as soon as is possible.

🚨U16 & U17 Girls final trial session is now at Headington School 🚨

U16 Girls: 12:30 - 14:00
U17 Girls: 14:30 - 16:00

All other sessions to remain at Tilsley Park.

All U15, U16 & U17 players that are on our database have been contacted via email with further details. If you are trialling but have not received the email, please get in touch via Direct Message or by emailing [email protected]

ClubBuzz is still not working for us as it should, so for the time being please register for the U15, U16 & U17 AC trials via Google Forms. Clubs and Schools have been emailed the welcome letter but if you are yet to recieve it, please sign up by following the web address in the post and email [email protected] to request the invitation letter so that payment can be sorted. As soon as ClubBuzz is up and running properly, everyone that has signed up will be emailed with instructions as to how to create an account/sign in and assign yourself to the correct team.

The Girls U16 and U17 have had a change of venue for the first and second trials, they are now at Headington School. No change of venue for the Boys.

Session 1: 1st October
Session 2: 12th November
Session 3: 3rd December

The PlayerPathway system has been replaced with ClubBuzz, as soon as the sign up process has been confirmed by ClubBuzz, invitations will be going out.

Thank you for attending the DC sessions, we hope that you have enjoyed them.

Letters will be going out soon to confirm invitation to these trials but the PlayerPathway system is still down for maintenance. As soon as this is back up and running, letters will go out.

At this stage we can confirm the venues and timings for the U13 and U14 Academy Centre (County) trials to get them pencilled into diaries while awaiting confirmation of invitation.

The PlayerPathway system is currently being upgraded, but as soon as we get confirmation from England Hockey that players can book on, letters will soon be sent to all schools and clubs.
