In hindsight, scheduling clean up day for the hottest day in May since records began, probably wasn’t ideal, but our plucky volunteers had a truly blistering Bank Holiday Monday cranking out the maintenance jobs down at the club. Massive thank you to everyone who lent a hand - we hope you are putting your feet up with a cool drink this evening!

Some of the ALTC Ladies played the British Heart Foundation ❤️ charity tournament today, ending up at White Lees House for a well earned and delicious lunch. Well done to Camilla W for making it through to the semi—finals!

The John Reissland memorial tournament was held last night. Carolyn and Hannah hosted the men and the 4 brave women who came in a hybrid mixed format. The winners were Daniel and Ian and the runners up were Chrissie and Phil. Congratulations to all!

Busy courts this afternoon with some eager tennis players from joining coach Ewan in the sunshine! How lovely to see them.

First day of Bev’s annual Friday Night 8 week Beginners’ and Returners’ course. Great turnout, and most definitely some potential (as well as competitive!) club/team members. Watch this space….
